Exclusive Negro Leagues Family Membership

This plan offers membership to families of former Negro Leagues players, as well as family-operated non-profit and for-profit organizations associated with the Negro Leagues. Eligible entities must hold legal or documented ownership of a player's name, image, or intellectual property. In addition to granting voting rights at the Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors, this plan provides the following benefits to members of this class:

● Join a membership of families with similar experiences, aiming to preserve, promote, and authenticate the leagues & legacies.

● Amplify your voice: Tell your stories and share in the stories of your fellow members.

● Gain firsthand access to MLB resources.

● Use your unique skills and experiences to develop and provide services to our target communities.

● Attend and represent NLFA at various events, venues, and platforms.

● Gain access to legal consultation in matters of licensing, contracts, and deal-making.

All applicants in this membership class must provide documentation/proof that your family member or members have either played, coached, managed, umpired, etc. in the National Negro Leagues.

Examples of documentation but not limited to: National Baseball Hall of Fame, Baseball Database, Elias Sports Bureau, Seamheads, Baseball-Reference, Retrosheet, Creditable Baseball Historian, Personal/Creditable documentation from your family collection.
